Well, now I know why I’ve always liked you so much....you’re a Halloween lady! All of the people I know born on that day are just SO COOL!!! Well, that, and being my rockette buddy and probably reminding me where to go a time or two!
I know I am a week early, but there is no reason you can’t celebrate all week long! It’s been another year...where does the time go? I hope you and Tony have had a good year and are happy and healthy. Just keep that up, and I’ll be (hopefully) writing you this time next year. Stay your delightful self, and have a magnificent birthday! I’ll be thinking of you.
So sorry to hear of Jeffrey’s passing. What a wonderful writer he was!
I did not know Mike in high school; we met at our Mt. Lebanon 45th class reunion. What a nice guy! I learned about his service in Vietnam, and he told me about his wonderful family. I have read recent postings from his son and daughter, and it is very clear how much they loved him. I am certain he was devoted to them. I remember his charm and wit. RIP, Mike. You will be missed....

Hey, Bitsey! I used to live in the west and was a Gifted Specialist at both Copper Ridge Middle School, and Cocopah Middle School in Scottsdale. But I am in Savannah now. I did enjoy that part of the country. Too bad we weren’t there at the same time....
I recently read about your surgery. Sounds like an awful experience! Very brave of you to endure surgery, and I hope you have recovered well. The part about the painkillers (or lack thereof) was interesting. I knew the current opioid crisis would affect legitimate pain patients. I guess these are things you have to ask about now if/when contemplating surgery.
It’s not easy getting old, is it?! As the old adage goes, “old age ain’t for sissies!”
“Good things come to those who wait.”
I have always believed you can find love at any age. You are proof! I hope you find much happiness in your life with your new husband and in NM!
Best wishes to both of you! So happy for you!
